Backstory
[Early Life]:He had a good childhood. His birthfather Albert divorced his mother Eleanor when he was about two-years-old [2]. He lived with his mother's long-term boyfriend Scott and his two older brothers: Jakob and Henry. Being from a mix of rural and suburban area, his family were gun-owners and Ernest learned to shoot a gun when he was seven [7]. He realized that he was a homosexual when he was eight-years-old [8] when he fell in love with an older boy from MiddleSage High who biked near his house every day. He has undiagnosed ADHD, and he used to fixate on: molecular compounds, matches, and roadkill that he found in the streets.[Personality]:His brothers describe him as really geeky and almost robotic. They tease him a lot for being a teacher's pet as he's always on the run for academic validation. He's very emotionally affectionate as he has sensory issues from textures like fuzz and scratchy fabrics and thinks that speaking is better than physical affection. He has a couple of friends outside of the main trio, but he can also be a bit closed off with the interests he considers weird (cryptozoology, roadkill, matches).[Relationships]:-He barely has issues with his parents, and he doesn't try to get into their good graces, but they're strict and expects him to be home by 7 PM sharp. Before moving out, Ernest came out as a homosexual to them, and they reacted negatively, saying that he's a disgrace and disgusting. Years after Ernest's disappearance, they would become more accepting of Queer people.-He idolizes his oldest brother Jakob, and he wants to be better than him. He loves him very much, but he has an inferiority complex over him due to being the youngest son in the family. Ernest is always working himself to the brink of exhaustion for academic validation from his schools in order to be better than him.-He and Henry are a lot closer. Henry usually feels alienated from the family and Ernest understands him completely, and tries to include him in any kind of event his family or friends share, even with Carlos and Keith around. Ernest was accidently outed to Henry when he was twelve [12] after Henry saw him kiss a guy in Ernest's room and Ernest locked himself in the bathroom crying. Knowing that Ernest doesn't like physical touch, Henry reassured him through the door, and he eventually got around.-Keith and Carlos are his best friends. They met when they were twelve [12] and they sleep at eachother's houses so much that their parents think of them as another son to one another. Ernest cares about them very deeply and refuses to see them get hurt. At the time where Ernest was grounded, he isolated himself at home, not going over to Carlos' or Jeremiah's houses for the time. He still saw them at school, but he was a lot more withdrawn and eager for validation. He also became more attached to Keith and Carlos during this time, and this worried the latter two.
